Merec Industries, SA, a national food reference company, made a donation of 30 tons of corn flour to the National Institute for Disaster Risk Management and Reduction (INGD), a delegation from Cabo Delgado province, to support displaced people from Palma, victims of violence.
The donation was made to INGD and the Secretary of State of the same province, Merec was represented by its North Regional Director.
This donation is part of the support that Merec provides to the communities, this being the second donation, which is made to displaced people from Cabo Delgado. The first was made to the displaced in Nampula province.
